"Just a few personal notes on my fast:
My fast consisted of reducing my daily portion of breakfast cereal
simple but ... [I have been eating this for breakfast since childhood]
...not as physically demanding as imagined ... more healthy
...daily reminder of why I was fasting
...increased my discipline
...gained additional consistency
...commitment is good
...increased more focus on purpose
...allowed additional quiet time
...shared fasting thoughts with others who are fasting
...influenced others not on fast about fasting
...confirmed that God is in charge
...God's Will... will... be done
...allowed me to get closer to God
...will continue the fast."BC

"What a blessing to pray and fast for the Friary where
so many came to know Christ plus grow their roots deep
in Him through the mentoring/teaching that took place
there as well. The Lord hears the cries of His children. We praise
Him for the mercy and grace He gives each day.
